Who’s ready for coffee?  Apparently someone named “Pondero” is.

Hand grinding coffee beans is satisfying work.

Using an aeropress is also satisfying work.

  1. The wind’s been blowing up this way, too. Looks like we’re in for a blustery weekend! Enjoyed your S24O photo documentary. Now, I’ve got to look up “senuosity”.

  2. Chris, I love the cup…who did the art? As usual you have upped the ante of cyclomentries. Yeah I just made that one up all by my lonesome. The hammock set up was informative as it answered a question I’ve had when there isn’t a tree handy. I so enjoyed the poetry of yer overnight.

    • Thanks, Hugh. My daughter did the mug art as a birthday gift. There is a bike with saddle bag on both sides. On one side she added @Pondero, and the other she added #coffeeoutside for the popular Instagram hashtag for cycling coffee geeks.

Cyclomentries, eh? Are you referencing ‘documentary’ and/or ‘commentary’? If so, maybe a slight spelling modification to…’cyclomentaries’? Either way, it’s a great term and more fun than ‘ride report’. Great idea!

    • Yes. I’m not very knowledgeable, but it seems to meet my basic needs. It seems easy to set up, comfortable, and keeps the bugs out. I enjoy hammock sleeping MUCH more than sleeping on the ground.
