Velosopher, indeed I am smitten with the QB. But that doesn't mean it is the bike for everyone. I'm a bit of an eccentric. I like gravel roads, taking my time, and riding "sub-optimal performance" fixed gear bicycles. That said, it seems owners generally are happy with them.
